The Summit Playhouse presents "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time"

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- The Summit Playhouse presents The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Simon Stephens. The production runs during the weekends from April 28 through May 13, 2023 at The Summit Playhouse. Fifteen-year-old Christopher has an extraordinary brain, but is ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. When he falls under suspicion for killing his neighbor's dog he sets out to identify the culprit, which leads to a journey that will change his life forever.

The cast includes Christopher: Josh Pearlstein; Siobhan: Juliet Hommes; Ed: Danny Greg; Judy: Jennifer Padley; Woman 1 (Mrs Shears, Gason, #40, Woman on Train, Info Desk): Julie Anne Nolan; Woman 2 (Mrs Alexander, Lady in the Street, Posh Woman, Punk Girl): Mary Murdock; Man 1: Deputy Sergeant, Uncle Terry, Shopkeeper, Drunk #2, Station Guard, Mr Thompson, Man Behind the Counter, London Policeman Lewis Decker; Man 2: Policeman, Rev. The Summit Playhouse, a non-profit community theatre, was founded in 1918 as a World War I relief organization. Since then, theyhave mounted over 300 productions, and is one of the oldest continuously operating community theatres in the United States. They produce three Main Stage shows a year, with performances in November, February/March, and April/May. Kaleidoscope Youth Theatre presents a Junior production in December and July, a full-length musical every summer, and various workshops throughout the year.

Cape May Stage presents "Love, Loss, & What I Wore"

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Cape May Stage presents Love, Loss, & What I Wore from July 5-11, 2025. Based on Ilene Beckerman's bestselling book, this tender and witty play weaves together monologues and ensemble pieces to explore the deep connections between clothing and memory, touching on themes like mothers, prom dresses, bras, purses, and the timeless appeal of black clothing. Showtime is 8:00pm each night.

East Lynne Theater Company presents Ken Ludwig's "Dear Jack, Dear Louise"

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- The award-winning, Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company (ELTC) – now in its 45th year–will present its first show of the company's Mainstage Season, Ken Ludwig's "Dear Jack, Dear Louise," from June 19 to July 12, 2025 with a special performance to honor Veterans on June 27. The heartwarming love story features Liz Mattera, an East Lynne veteran, as Louise, and New York-based actor Xander Furman as Jack, with Mark Edward Lang (ELTC's "Possessing Harriet") directing and lush period costumes by NYC designer Travis Chinick.
