The Strollers to Hold Auditions for 2022-23 Season

(MAPLEWOOD, NJ) -- The Strollers will hold season auditions Monday, September 19; Tuesday, September 20; and Thursday, September 22 at 7:00pm each night.  Auditions will take place at the Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts in Maplewood. Directors from all of the shows in the season will be there. All actors will read from provided sides.  Singers should prepare a song and bring sheet music in your key or sing a cappella.

The Strollers is committed to diversity, and look for opportunities to include nontraditional perspectives and LGBTQ performers in their productions. All are welcome. Further auditions for individual shows will be held as needed.

The Strollers' 2022-23 Season includes a Halloween Family Fright Night with silly songs and spooky sketches.  The 90th Anniversary Gala - a treasure trove of scenes and songs.  The Phantom Tollbooth - a fantasy adventure for children. Women Behind Bars - a campy comedy.  La Belle et La Bete - an original musical based on the French fable of "Beauty and the Beast."

The Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts is located at 10 Durand Road in Maplewood, New Jersey.
