The Gallery at Green Door Studio presents: Pencils, Pens, Paper & Paint

originally published: 04/29/2024

(MILLBURN, NJ) -- Pencils, Pens, Paper & Paint opens May 4th, 2024 at The Gallery at Green Door Studio. Four illustrators who incorporate their unique perspectives on the ups and downs of life, will be coming together for this special exhibit. Each artist and their selected work captures the silly and the serious, maintaining their illustrative lines while also stepping into the world of fine art.

Gallery director, Emily Konopinski, curated this show after nearly two years of admiring and following the work of this talented group of artists. These four artists have their own very special styles, and voices, with notable publishing and print credentials. It is very exciting to have them join the artist lineup at Green Door Studio.

The show consists of work from various mediums, etchings, paintings, mono-prints, numbered series, comics and posters. There is something for everyone and more than enough to keep everyone laughing, thinking and pondering life, love, and the ways, we spend our days. Embedded in the exhibit is a message of longing, purpose, our connections to nature and on brand for these brilliant illustrators, enough whimsy and curiosity to keep us going.

Featured artists include Cat Delett, Adam Gustavson, Lauren Weinstein, & Frederick Zorn. These NJ based artists contribute to both the regional and international art communities. Take advantage of this chance to meet with each artist and connect with their art.

There will be an Opening reception on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 6:30pm-9:00pm.  Green Door Studio is located at 306 Millburn Ave in Millburn, New Jersey.
