Shakespeare Theatre of NJ presents "Merry, Merry Mischief" - A Classic for Kids! Presentation

(MADISON, NJ) -- The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey presents Merry, Merry Mischief - A Classic for Kids! Presentation on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre. Children of all ages will delight in this seasonal Classics for Kids! offering. Showtime is 11:00am.

See an array of classic wintry tales come to life in this "Scripts in Hand" presentation with members of The Shakespeare Theatre's family of artists.  Featuring selections from authors such as L. Frank Baum (The Wizard of Oz), Louisa May Alcott (Little Women), Clement C. Moore, and others, Merry, Merry Mischief is sure to bring the gift of giggles and a flurry of fun to kids and kids-at-heart alike.

Tickets are available for purchase online. Doors open at 10:30am. Approximate running time is 1 hour.The F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre is located on the campus of Drew University at 36 Madison Avenue in Madison, New Jersey.

Classics for Kids! is a new family series features classic works of children's literature presented on the Main Stage at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre. A perfect way to introduce all ages to the joys of live theatre and great stories!

Written by Mark Schaeffer and featuring music and lyrics by Rita Z. Asch, Digging The Whole tells the tale of Slag Heap, a soda-loving, TV-watching character who builds a home deep in the woods.
