(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- In commemoration of Genocide Awareness Month, the Institute of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Raritan Valley Community College will present an online educational series, “Genocide Has No Boundaries,” Fridays, April 14, 21 and 28, and May 5, from 10:00am to 11:00am.
The series, which is free of charge and open to the public, will address current-day genocides in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. It is being facilitated by Dr. Ellen Kennedy, Executive Director of World Without Genocide.
Students and community members will learn about the geography and events that have unfolded around the world that have led to the situations being confronted today. The program will focus on current-day concerns in Ukraine, Syria, China, and Ethiopia.
Registration for the series is required. To register, click here. The series is being co-sponsored by The Jewish Federation of Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren Counties.
Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) is located at 118 Lamington Road in Branchburg, New Jersey.
