(EGG HARBOR CITY, NJ) -- Renault Winery & Resort hosts the Independence Country Music Festival the weekend of July 1-2, 2023. Join them for a spectacular weekend of music, festivities, and celebration.
On July 1st, kick-start your day with the Red, Wine, and Blueberry 5K & 1-mile fun run starting at 9:00am. Following that, from 10:00am to 4:00pm, immerse yourself in the Finishers Party, featuring live music, local vendors, tractor rides, axe throwing, and dining options from TASTE 1864 in their Wine and Beer Garden.
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just starting out, this race is perfect for everyone. The 5k course will take you on a scenic route along a flat multi-surface road to the beautiful Egg Harbor City Lake and back to Renault Winery. The 1-mile fun run for ages 14 and under starts at 9:00 AM. The 5K race starts at 9:30 AM, so be sure to arrive early to warm up and get ready.
After the race, stick around and enjoy the lively atmosphere at the finisher’s party in our Wine and Beer Garden, featuring a live band. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind, and celebrate your accomplishment with friends and fellow runners.
On July 2nd, the festivities continue as PARC Renault opens at 12:00pm, featuring vendors, live music, the Renault food truck, Sweet Shop, Village Bar, and more. This year there will be a Beer Tasting Tent featuring 7 local breweries from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. To top the night off they will have a Grand Fireworks display at 9:00pm, marking the perfect ending to an unforgettable weekend. ** Note: If you purchase your beer-tasting tickets before the event the ticket includes parking! Tickets will be available on-site but parking is not included and is an extra $10.
VIP seating is available for the fireworks. The VIP tent includes seating for 10 with a coffee table, a fire pit, and great views of the main stage in the festival area. VIP tents provide a covered space for you and your friends to gather, relax and enjoy the music and fireworks display. Enjoy a complimentary smores kit to enjoy around the firepit, a VIP bar in your section. VIP tents include an attendant during the rental as well.
Tractor rides will be offered throughout the weekend for guests of all ages to enjoy the scenery of the historic vineyard at Renault Winery.
