(POMPTON LAKES, NJ) -- StageWorks at Studio 237 is presenting Bonnie & Clyde from September 29 to October 9. Adrift in the Depression-era Southwest, Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker embark on a life of crime. They mean no harm. They crave adventure -- and each other. Photographer John Posada was on hand to take photos.

Clyde Barrow, recently out of prison, has turned to bank robbery. He meets Bonnie Parker, a bored waitress, and together the two terrorize the southwest in the 1920s.

Based on the true story of a pair of notorious bank robbers, the story personalizes them while still showing the violence that went along with them. People are proud to have been held up by Bonnie and Clyde; to their victims, the duo is doing what nobody else has the guts to do. To the law, they are two are evil bank robbers who deserve to be gunned down where they stand.

Performances take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8:00pm and Sunday at 3:00pm. Tickets are $25 plus tax for all shows. Saturday 10/1 Student Rush Tickets with Student ID $20. Visit stageworksnj.org or call 973-513-9159 for information and tickets for Bonnie & Clyde.
