Paul Cullen, Formerly of Bad Company, to Perform in Cape May

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Paul Cullen, formerly of Bad Company, is the headline performer with a talented trio of guest performers on Thursday, August 11, for a special night of storytelling and classic hits from the man himself, unplugged on an intimate stage, in the heart of Cape May and outside, on the beautiful and historic grounds of the 1879 Emlen Physick Estate (1048 Washington Street). The show is part of Cape May’s new Summer Sunset Solo Series. Enjoy a variety of classic hits such as “Feel Like Makin‘ Love,” “Shooting Star” and more.

While touring Europe with the classic rock band, he turned Bad Company into Good Company when he fell in love with fine wine, exquisitely prepared food and the culture that surrounds both. Now known as Chef Paul Tagliaferro Cullen, he has brought these dining experiences to the doorsteps of homes at Delaware beaches with his latest creation called Paul’s Kitchen. Paul immerses his audiences with a special show combining his love of food, wine and music while telling great stories of his life on the road as a rock & roll superstar!

Rising star Camille K will perform a warmup set for our headlining guest. She is a Philadelphia, Pa.-based musician, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. Hooked on music from a very early age, she learned electric guitar beginning at the age of 7. Within a few years she was opening for Jon Anderson of Yes on his 1,000 Hands Tour (with PGRA Philly), and played the iconic Stone Pony in Asbury Park, N.J., and The Bitter End in New York City. Her song “I Believe in Miracles” is featured in the upcoming movie “Philly Christmas” to be released during the 2022 holiday season. Her vocal styling is sweet and soulful, influenced by classics, and ready for today. Camille continues to write, record and perform original music with more releases in the works.

Bring Your Own (BYO) blanket, chair, food or beverage of choice and take advantage of this unique opportunity to get up close and personal with celebrated musicians in a laid-back scenic outdoor setting. This all-ages event is the perfect alternative for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the vacation season for a weeknight of relaxation and laid-back community enjoyment. The grounds are wheelchair accessible. The Emlen Physick Estate is an authorized retail outlet for Cape May Winery wine, which will be available for purchase on the grounds. Festival ground Doors Open at 6:30 p.m. for all ticketed guests. All paid ticket holders will receive a complimentary Cape May Lighthouse admission voucher (a $12 value) courtesy of Cape May MAC.

Vintage BYOB Restaurant, located on the estate grounds, will be open for your convenience with fine dining or take out options available for this evening. Reservations and orders can be placed by calling 609-224-6064.
