originally published: 12/08/2022

(TENAFLY, NJ) -- NYC Music Marathon along with composer Jack Dallas are presenting two original Jack Dallas / Richard Petrocy musicals at the Clinton Inn in Tenafly on December 15-16. Fresh from 4 weeks on TheatreRow 42nd St New York City, Jack Dallas brings his NYC Music Marathon home to his Northern Valley roots. Two musical comedies delivered radio style.

Jack Dallas Beddoe is a Northern Valley Demarest Norseman and Upsala College Viking alum. Dallas is an Exempt Fire Fighter and Life member EMT. He was a Musical Director for several churches.  Dallas has served as a Teacher of the Blind for many years. In his early post college years, he was an “on the road” musician.

Thursday, December 15 at 7:00pm - Miranda, is the Dallas & Petrocy musical laugh monster. Stolen from Italian master Goldoni. Miranda is chased by suitors in her Key Largo resort. Farce happens. One high flying General is shot down.

Friday, December 16 at 7:00pm - The HighWayMan is a Jack Dallas (composer) and Richard Petrocy (book & lyrics) collaboration. Beth and Rollo, an adventuresome American couple drink local mead in a small Welsh town. Their past comes alive as Beth transforms into Bess the Land Lord’s daughter and her love for The HighWayMan, Roland. Unfortunately out laws are hunted and the Dragoon Captain wants Roland dead and Bess for dessert.
