Murray Hidary brings MindTravel to Asbury Park on Saturday

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Composer and pianist Murray Hidary brings MindTravel back to Asbury Park for a one-night-only Live-to-Headphones 'Silent' Piano concert under the stars on the Asbury Park Beach on Saturday, July 9th. Get ready to let your mind explore new pathways to creativity, focus and reflection as you experience MindTravel on the shores of the Atlantic. It takes place on the 3rd Avenue Beach at 10:00pm.

Murray’s real-time compositions are beamed directly into your mind through wireless headphones while you kick back and take in the beautiful surroundings including our beautiful art installations. Don't forget to bring your favorite beach chair or blanket and warm layers as it can get chilly on the beach late at night.

Headphones are limited due to safety considerations so be sure to reserve yours today.  Tickets are available for purchase online.

This experience will take place rain or shine.

"MindTravel is an amazing introduction to meditation as it takes the Traveler on a specific journey. It is also perfect for the experienced meditator as a way to enhance and deepen one’s own practice. In short, Mind Travel is for anyone!” Sara Ivanhoe, MA Yoga Philosophy

"MindTravel is an experience like no other. Imagine a concert pianist improvising beautiful, peaceful music with imagery in the background that matches the beauty of the music — combined, it is almost meditative or trancelike." Jason Wachob, Founder of mindbodygreen

Music is at once primal yet aspirational. It satisfies our deepest needs while raising us to our highest sense of self. Composer and pianist Murray Hidary is the creator of Mind Travel. His post-minimalist, improvisational, real-time compositions with the piano and art installations are inspired by mystical traditions and theoretical physics, take the audience on a transporting and expansive journey. It is an exploration in translating music into our daily thoughts, words and actions. To carry forward the lessons of music into our lives. To live with harmony, clarity and rhythm.
