(HOLMDEL, NJ) -- A celebration of all things feline, The Catsbury Park Cat Convention will arrive on Saturday, October 5, 2024 in Bellworks from 11:00am-7:00pm hosted by Catsbury Park, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization based in Asbury Park. All proceeds from the event will benefit Catsbury Park Inc. and partnered charities.
The organization announced a special guest, Marbelous Mr Marbles who will appear at the convention alongside Hannah "Kitten Lady" Shaw for an intimate meet-and-greet opportunity and much more.
Founded in July 2016 in Asbury Park by Jersey Shore native DJ Bornschein, the convention brings together influencers, educators, and entertainers under one roof to promote Catsbury's mission of "helping to save the lives of cats and kittens in need through rescue, TNR, and education at the Jersey Shore and beyond" to a broader audience.
The event will feature 50+ vendors, selling cat-themed and cat-centric merchandise. Patrons can also visit the on-site cat café to spend time with adorable, adoptable kitties. Learn from expert speakers and panelists about wellness, rescue, and TNR, or join in on one of the many interactive events. In addition, Cat Tattoos by Neptune Tattooville will be present, as well as Sarah Potter who will be providing pet blessings, animal communication & tarot readings.
Tickets are available for purchase online. BellWorks is located at 101 Crawfords Corner Road in Holmdel, New Jersey.
Catsbury Park was founded in July 2016 in Asbury Park, NJ, by Jersey Shore native DJ Bornschein as a foster-based rescue. DJ brought over 25 kittens into his home, got them vetted, spayed & neutered, and eventually adopted. That summer, DJ had the vision to expand Catsbury Park, open NJ’s first cat cafe to help find homes for even more cats, and increase Catsbury Park’s visibility. Inspired by his visit to Cat Town Rescue and cat cafe in Oakland during his time in San Francisco, DJ brought this innovative idea to New Jersey.
Catsbury Park’s vision is a world where no cat or kitten has to go without a home or affordable access to spay and neuter. They invite the community to join us in their mission to save the lives of cats and kittens in need. Whether through adoption, volunteering, fostering, or donations, all support makes a difference.
