(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Listen Local series of concerts on Hinds Plaza presented by Princeton Public Library continues June 5 when Fiona Tyndall and Friends performs from 4:00pm-5:15pm. In a concert called "From Clare to Here", Fiona Tyndall, Ben Steinfeld and guest performers will take listeners on a musical journey from Ireland to America during this performance. In the event of rain, the performance will be moved to the Community Room.

Fiona Tyndall is a recording artist and vocalist focused on traditional language culture and song. Ben Steinfeld is an actor, director, writer, musician, and adjunct professor and artistic associate at NYU-Gallatin.

On July 10 at 4:00pm, the series features the quintet Stay Tuned performing their unique brand of Garage Pop on Hinds Plaza.

The Listen Local series also includes “Afternoons at the Amphitheatre” open mic events hosted by the library and the Einstein Alley Musicians Collaborative. The open mic events will be May 22 and August 7 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at the Pettoranello Gardens amphitheater in Community Park North. Sign up for 15-minute performance slots start at 2:30pm, and are first-come, first-served.
