Evening of Political Comedy Slated at RVCC Theatre

(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- The Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg will present the talented members of Capitol Comedy in Two Cheers for Democracy on Sunday, October 30 at 7:00pm.
Two Cheers for Democracy, Capitol Comedy’s new show, provides the most contemporary take on political satire. The group utilizes today’s social and political headlines, hitting the entire political spectrum with equal fervor.
Two Cheers for Democracy will have audiences rolling in the aisles as the group takes some all-time favorite songs and gives them a few tweaks and a new set of lyrics. The extensive performance talents of the six-member cast include the ability to channel numerous political and public figures. Every performance is sharp, tasteful, and timely, and it’s intended purely for enjoyment by all sides. Audiences are sure to find Two Cheers for Democracy the epitome of fun!
