(WARETOWN, NJ) -- As the spooky season descends upon us, Albert Music Hall is gearing up for its annual Jersey Devil Show, set to take place on Saturday, November 2, 2024. This thrilling evening will feature music, folklore, and a dedication to New Jersey's infamous cryptid. Guests can enjoy a mix of bands that capture the season's eerie spirit. Legend has it that the Jersey Devil has a love for music, and this year's lineup aims to entice the elusive creature to make a guest appearance.
Admission is $6 ($1 for kids under 12). The venue is cash only. Tickets are purchased at the door, and seating is unassigned so arrive early for the best seats.
Doors will open at 5:00pm, with the music beginning at 6:00pm. First up, Gothic-Americana duo The Wedding Funeral is back by popular demand after amazing the audience last year with a set that included saw-playing (among other things). Following them is Please Don't Tell, the haunting acoustic trio all the way from Charlottesville, VA - a rare chance to see a cello on stage at the Hall. Next are two of the Hall’s popular bands to make visitors feel more at home if things are getting too creepy - Billy T Midnight and Basement Musicians. Finally, a performance by Lost in Brunswick - a local Bluegrass band making their Hall debut - to complete this fun and dynamic lineup.
The food booth menu will be serving hot foods, sausage, peppers & onions, meatballs, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs. There will also be a selection of desserts and beverages. The gift shop is stocked with a variety of music and Pinelands and Albert Hall themed gifts, including Jersey Devil merchandise. There will be a 50/50 drawing and Anniversary Raffle tickets will be available in the foyer for $10 - the first prize is a $4,500 banjo. Visit this page for details on the raffle.
The Pickin' Shed will be open for jamming throughout this event. Don’t miss out on this annual celebration of music and legend at Albert Music Hall! The venue is located at 131 Wells Mills Road (Rt 532) in Waretown, New Jersey.
