Third Friday In June At Glasstown Arts District(MILLVILLE, NJ) -- End your week on June 19 with art, fun and entertainment at the monthly Third Friday event in Glasstown Arts District, Millville, NJ. Have you tried the newest restaurant in Millville?  El Guacamole has hit a home run according to just about everyone who has dined in this intimate eatery.  It is a BYOB and reservations are strongly suggested.  

Across the Pond is one of the most popular shops and is having a tea time sale, so stop in and check out all the great bargains.  Summer teas are here - Apricot, Blueberry, Lemon Souffle, Pineapple Upside Down Cake, Raspberry, and Tropical Green. (photo attached)

The ever-popular Bogart’s Books & Coffee will feature the acoustic musical performance of Jeff Schwacher starting at 7 p.m.  You can enjoy the music, a great beverage and stock up on great summer reading while you are there.

The cornerstone of the arts district, the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts, has a solo exhibit of Michael Water – a very well-known artists throughout our region.  In the Witt Gallery, there will be a showcase of artwork done at the “Fun Artists’ Day on the Maurice River.”  

Village on High, serving wildflower earthly vegan fare was recently ranked as #2 best restaurant in Millville by Trip Advisor.

While you’re in the Village check in at FiberArts Café.  Have you heard about Jelly Yarn?  It’s great material to make all kinds of projects. Water bottle totes because it stretches to fit and scrunches down to fit in a purse or pocket.  You can also make jewelry – there are kits -- hair accessories, pet collars and leashes…great for the glow in the dark Jelly Yarn! Come by FiberArts Café to see & feel Jelly Yarn.

An Octopus’s Garden is featuring many emerging artists and the jewelry of Renee Jasquith.  The cottage shops are charming and the gardens full of blooms at this time of year. 

Entertainment is plentiful throughout the district.  The Levoy Theatre show is “Legally Blonde – the musical.”  Showtime is at 8 and doors open at 7:30. 

The Millville High School Jazz Band will perform in Captain Buck Park on the riverfront from 6 to 7 p.m.

Sunset Rise band will be performing on the Glasstown Plaza to rock your evening from 6 till 9 p.m. 

To wrap up your evening, don’t miss “Arsenal” at BoJo’s Ale House from 9 p.m. till 1 a.m.  If you like the rock music of the ‘80’s, this is a must see band!
