Founded in 1959 by Bernard Sahlins, Howard Alk, and Paul Sills the Second City was a place for improvisation acting and comedy using newly developed techniques. Since then The Second City has become the premier hotspot for directors, actors, comedians, and others in show business looking to launch their careers.
