(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Reality Disorder, a new comedy project from award winning filmmakers, Gerard Bianco Jr. and Nikki Gold, will be screening at the 2017 Hang Onto Your Shorts Film Festival in Asbury Park, NJ on Sunday, May 21, 2017.
Set in New Jersey, New York City and Miami, Reality Disorder tells the story of Nikki and Gerard (played by Gold and Bianco), two struggling independent producers in New York City, who are desperate for a hit series. After a promising meeting with a television network, they cross over the bridge to New Jersey to make a reality show with Gerard's rich playboy cousin Mike (played by Caldwell, New Jersey native Mike Vezza.)
The film also features Lynne Koplitz as Mike’s mother (Louis CK's Horace and Pete, Last Comic Standing), Jordan Carlos (Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, Girls), and Sheba Mason (Comedian and daughter of Comedian Jackie Mason).
Reality Disorder is nominated for BEST COMEDY at the Hang Onto Your Shorts Film Festival. This will be the second New Jersey film festival for the project after a successful screening at the 2017 Ridgewood Guild International Festival where they received an honorable mention from the festival.
The project was produced by Rare View Films LLC, a production company founded by Bianco and Gold in 2011. They also produce the award winning comedy web series Method Or Madness.
