Rahway Seeks Artists For 2018 Culture Crawl Festival

originally published: 05/25/2018

(RAHWAY, NJ) -- The Rahway Arts & Business Partnership is seeking submissions of artists and artwork for display and exhibition during Rahway NJ’s Culture Crawl Festival 2018 on Saturday, September 22nd from 1:00pm to 6:00pm – Rain or shine!  The arts in general are underfunded and in some situations under attack. Rahway is supporting the arts in many ways and this is one more!  Culture Crawl is a one day explosion of the arts all throughout the downtown. Entrance deadline is June 30.

The Rahway Culture Crawl Festival  is free for artists to participate and to attend. This creates a barrier free opportunity for artists of all genres and at all levels to create, display and hopefully sell their work. Last year they had almost 200 artists and approximately 5,000 attendees.

They are currently seeking: Video (live action and animation), Short Film, Sound, Two Dimensional Art (painting, drawing, photography, prints, and mixed media), Sculpture and Installation (indoor and out), and Live Performances (including music, spoken word, live artists, etc).  All applicants are encouraged, but not obligated, to sell their work (perfoming artists, musicians, etc., may accept tips).

Entrance deadline is June 30 for an exclusive Artist Feature with their Marketing; July 31st Final Deadline. Enter online at www.culturecrawl.org

Due to the nature of the event, the artwork is on display for one day only.  Set up and break down time is limited to the day of the event. Artists are responsible for supplying all their own equipment. Once registered they will communicate to you directly. Any inquiries can be directed to [email protected]
