originally published: 05/10/2021

(HOBOKEN, NJ) --  Pilsener Haus & Biergarten will kickoff its Summer with three days of music, food, and drinks at its Hoboken location.  The festival called “Rock the Haus” will take place Friday through Sunday, May 21-23.  Grand Street will be closed between 15th and 16th streets and turned into a summer stage and outdoor concert festival for the weekend.

Artists scheduled to perform include The Bruce Show, No Discipline, OMG Band, Chocolatt Jared, Toy Machine, The Fuzzy Lemons, Bud Maltin Maltin Metropolitan Music, Luke and the Trouble Makers, and The Groove Band.

“We’re excited to kick off the summer with a fun outdoor concert festival for people of all ages,” said Vincent Crysler, partner/owner of Pilsener Haus & Biergarten.  “There will be something for everyone throughout the course of the weekend:  food, drinks, live music and more.  We’ll be simulcasting the event on video screens at Pilsener Haus & Biergarten and the Saturday and Sunday afternoon sessions will feature family entertainment, so everyone can enjoy a little time outdoors, either at the stage or here in the restaurant.”

The three-day event is presented by Pilsener Haus & Biergarten and is also a reminder for all people who have not yet done so to get out and get their COVID-19 vaccinations.  As part of the event, Pilsener Haus & Biergarten is offering “a beer for a shot” promotion during the festival and through the end of May for Hoboken residents.  Anyone who comes to the event or visits Pilsener Haus & Biergarten during the month of May will receive their first beer of choice free by showing a proof of vaccination in the month of May.  (Either first shot, second shot, or both shots.) Person redeeming must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid vaccination card.

“If you haven’t gotten your COVID-19 vaccine yet, there’s never been a better time,” said Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla. “Not only will it help protect your friends and family, but if you get one during the month of May, a free beer will be waiting for you at Pilsner Haus & Biergarten. Thanks to the Pilsner Haus team for initiating this great program for our residents!”
