originally published: 03/20/2015

Noyes Art Garage Launches "Wine & Design" Event Series(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) – The Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University, located at 2200 Fairmount Avenue in Atlantic City, is excited to announce the first of a series of artist hosted Wine & Design events. The first event will be held on Sunday, April 19, from 2-5pm. Shake off your cabin fever. Bring your own beverage and the Arts Garage supplies the rest, including free parking in the attached Wave Parking Garage, and light fair to accompany your wine.

Wine & Design is a great way to ignite your creativity in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.  Whether you are a seasoned artist or a beginner, there is fun to be had at Wine & Design. We supply the watercolor paint, palettes, paper, brushes, and a still life set-up for inspiration.  You can bring your own photo or special object to work from.

Bring your creativity, a friend, and your favorite bottle of wine for an afternoon of artistic fun! Each session of our series will be hosted by a professional artist; each specializes in a different medium. Our inaugural event will be hosted by The Arts Garage Resident Watercolor Artist Stephanie Segal Miller. Stephanie works in various creative media including painting, writing, and stained glass. She is an illustrator and is currently illustrating a children’s book she has authored. Her medium of choice is watercolor, and she draws her inspiration from animals.  She has had the good fortune to travel with her husband, Joel, and capture images of animals in their natural habitat.  The artist will assist participants with advice and instruction as she works on her own painting.

Spend a Sunday afternoon immersed in art! Bring your vino and bring a friend. You can register and purchase your ticket(s) online at www.WineandDesign-Watercolor.Eventbrite.com.  The price is $28 per person, which includes art supplies, light refreshments and FREE parking in the Wave Parking Garage. Cups and bottle openers will be available. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot today.

The Noyes Stockton Gallery at the Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University is free and open to the public, from 11am till 6 pm, Wednesday through Sunday.  For more information call (609) 626-3805, or visit www.artsgarageac.com.
