NJPAC Partners With Lyft

(NEWARK, NJ) -- The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) has partnered with Lyft as its rideshare partner. Visitors to the popular New Jersey venue will now have the added convenience of using the Lyft button in the new NJPAC mobile app to call a ride to or from the venue, removing parking from their planning process.

“Through our new partnership with NJPAC, event attendees can focus on the performance and leave the driving to Lyft. Getting to and from the show in downtown Newark has never been more convenient and seamless. We’re committed to providing a safe and reliable ride for attendees at NJPAC and in communities across New Jersey.” said Ann Ferracane, General Manager of Lyft New Jersey.

As part of the partnership, visitors will be able to catch their Lyft at a branded designated pick-up and drop-off zone in the parking lot.  Additionally, to help passengers find their ride quickly and efficiently, the Amp in each Lyft vehicle illuminates the same color as the passenger’s app, ensuring streamlined pickups.

“With more than 200 events being presented each season, bringing in thousands of visitors through our doors, we are very grateful to have Lyft as a rideshare partner. Our community is very important to NJPAC and having an easy and safe way for our guests to get home is of utmost importance,” said John Schreiber, President and CEO of NJPAC.

To celebrate this partnership, new users of Lyft can use the code NJPAC when ordering a Lyft to receive $5 off 3 rides.
