Monmouth Museum Presents Exhibit By Anzhelika Doliba

(LINCROFT, NJ) -- The New Jersey Emerging Artists Series continues this spring at The Monmouth Museum with an exhibition by Freehold-based artist, Anzhelika Doliba entitled "Life As I See It."  The exhibit runs from March 24 through April 23.

Doliba states,“The atmosphere and mood of the work are the most important elements for me and with each piece I am trying to convey the feeling of that moment.”

Inspiration for Doliba’s work comes from a life that began on the other side of the world. Born and raised in the Ukraine, she graduated from the national Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kiev, before immigrating to the United States and settling in New Jersey in 2010. These multi-cultural experiences have offered her the ability to convey a unique perspective to the classical realistic style found within her artwork.

In this series of mostly colored pencil, pen and graphite drawings, Life As I See It goal is to offer classical realistic representations of all aspects of life including, portraits, daily scenes, iconic and little known destinations, as well as architectural interiors and exteriors.  While the subject matter may appear wide at first impression, all her drawings are tied to her passionate desire to capture and express the world around her in a highly detailed and realistic fashion.  The body of work is simultaneously uniquely her own but also familiar in the eyes of the viewer.

In addition to Doliba’s realistic Portraits Drawing & Painting, she works in many other mediums including pencil, watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel and clay.
