Having done 100 shows in 100 days before the pandemic, hard-working Phillipsburg-based punk trio Houston & the Dirty Rats have been itchin’ to get back on the road. The tour coincides with the long-awaited video for “Public Restrooms Suck!” off their 2020 EP, “Songs! From the Bathroom Stall?” The blistering, potty-humorous tune is the Makin Waves Song of the Week.
As the Makin Waves Song of the Week, “Public Restrooms Suck!” also can be heard between 6 and 8 p.m. on Oct. 22 on “Radio Jersey” at ThePenguinRocks.com.
Night of the Living Pogo also will include OC Rippers, One Sided, and Diamond Dogs. Admission is only $7 with a costume.
New Jersey Stage is proud to be the home of Bob Makin's Makin Waves column since 2017. His Song of the Week column comes out every Friday. He also writes an Album of the Month and Interview of the Month as well.
