Big America Records has released longtime Jersey Shore rocker James Deely’s latest single, “House Full of Memories.”
The reflective but rhythmic tune lives up to its title with a studio full of Shore-based musicians, including Eddie Manion, Layonne Holmes, PK Lavengood, Johnny Waken, Jonathan Byrd, former James Deely & the Valiants drummer Peter Barnett, and track producer Bruce Tunkel, whose former band, The Red House, shared many a bill with the Valiants.
Bruce produced and mastered the single at his own Beanland Sound studio in Central Jersey. The video was produced by Jersey-based PKI Design in anticipation of a forthcoming album that will be part of an indie catalog that extends to the late 1980s.
New Jersey Stage is proud to be the home of Bob Makin's Makin Waves column since 2017. His Song of the Week column comes out every Friday. He also writes an Album of the Month and Interview of the Month as well.
