The North Jersey hard-rock band Deaf Rhino will celebrate the release of their new song, “Snakeskin,” and their video for it on June 23 at Maxwell’s Tavern in Hoboken, where they’ll open for The Last Internationale and share the bill with Chevonne and The Fuzz. The song was produced by Joel Hamilton (Highly Suspect, The Black Keys) at Studio G Brooklyn and features Sasha Dobson, who’s gigged with Grammy winner Norah Jones. Ohio-based Films Forge helped create a story about “necessary survival” within a Quentin Tarantino-inspired film noir focused on drug trafficking, murder, deceit, beautiful women and rock ‘n’ roll. Other upcoming shows include Aug. 11 at The Saint, Asbury Park, and Nov. 11 at Bowery Electric, New York City, both with Wicked Hollow, as well as Aug. 18 at Asbury Park Music Foundation ...
