
(BASKING RIDGE, NJ) -- Light Opera of New Jersey will hold auditions for their production of Puccini's La Bohème on Thursday, October 14 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm and Saturday, October 17 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Both take place at t. Mark's Episcopal Church (140 South Finley Avenue) in Basking Ridge, NJ. The production will be sung in English and set in a modern setting.

LONJ will provide an experienced accompanist (Karen Delavan) at a nominal fee of $20, payable at the door. This fee will be waived if you have performed with us in the past, if you provide your own accompanist, or if you wish to be considered solely for an ensemble part.
Performances will be at the Fellowship Cultural Arts Center (Basking Ridge, NJ) and the South Orange Performing Arts Center (South Orange, NJ). All roles paid. Performance Dates: February 11, 13, 18, 20 and March 27, 2021. The production stage director is Andrea DelGiudice; the music director & conductor is Jason Tramm.
The mission of Light Opera of New Jersey is to present treasures of musical theater and light opera with professional caliber performers, musicians and production teams. We educate our performers by casting local talent of all ages alongside seasoned professionals; we educate our communities by bringing our shows to audiences who otherwise might not experience these art forms.
