Hamilton Mall To Debut "Savory Sundays"

Hamilton Mall To Debut "Savory Sundays"(MAYS LANDING, NJ) -- Hamilton Mall, in association with the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College, will debut monthly cooking demonstrations beginning Sunday, Sept. 20 and continuing through the end of next summer at the Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing. “Savory Sundays” will feature ACA chef educators demonstrating a variety of topics including healthy lunches, recipes for canning and freezing, and holiday beverages, to name a few.

The ACA will present three shows for each event at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. Demonstrations are scheduled for Sundays, Sept. 20, Oct. 18, Nov. 15, Dec. 13, Jan. 17, Feb. 21, March 20, April 17, May 15, June 19, July 17 and Aug. 21.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for any foodie in the region to pick up free tasty tips, delicious food samples, recipes and healthy household hints from a host of expert chefs and other food educators,” says Colleen Dunn, general manager of Hamilton Mall.

“Savory Sundays” kicks off Sept. 20 by highlighting Healthy Lunches and showcasing how to add value instead of empty calories into your lunchbox.

The rest of the themed sessions through the end of this year are: Recipes for Canning and Freezing (Oct. 18); Seasonal Produce (Nov. 15), and Holiday Beverages (Dec. 13).
