Frank Iero and the Patience To Play White Eagle Hall In Jersey City

(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- Frank Iero and the Patience plays historic White Eagle Hall in Jersey City on July 22 at 8:00pm, the only New York City area appearance  of their current tour.  The Homeless Gospel Choir will open the night.  Tickets range from $20 to $25. Iero, a Bellville, N.J. native, is eager to perform at this newly renovated concert hall that reopened in May.

“I’m really excited to be playing a home town show in Jersey City,” says Iero. “We’ve had amazing shows in J.C. before and I’m really looking forward to playing a new venue there. I’ve heard great things about White Eagle Hall and I’m excited to discover another gem in the city that holds my heart.”

Frank Iero, who gained fame as a member of My Chemical Romance and the post-hardcore punk band,  LeATHERMØUTH, formed his punk solo punk project, Frank Iero and the Patience (originally known as frnkiero and the cellabration) in 2014. The group’s recent album, Parachutes, released in October of 2016, is considered by many critics to be a personal breakthrough for the artist. “These burnt and frayed punk songs burst forth with purpose and power, bearing the pale scars of some deep psychic wounds….. Iero has made a grand statement with Parachutes that should not be overlooked.” (Alternative Press)

"Parachutes are life saving devices,” Iero says about his newest record. “The act of living can be random and strange, beautiful and ugly at the same time and the only thing that is undeniably certain is eventually we are all gonna hit the ground. Some of us plummet at an incredible rate and it’s over in a flash, but some of us get saved and are able to enjoy the view for a little while.”

Frank Iero and The Patience features: Frank Iero (Guitar.Vocals), Evan Nestor (Guitar, Vocals), Matt Olsson (Drums,Vocals) and Alex Grippo (Bass).
