(EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- The East Brunswick Historical Society will host a program on Sunday, November 18 at 2:00pm about the famous Hall-Mills Murder Case. It goes back to a September evening in 1922 when the bodies of 2 lovers were discovered on an abandoned farm at the outskirts of New Brunswick. They were Reverend Edward Wheeler Hall, 41, and Eleanor Mills, 34.
Many legal experts and historians have argued over who murdered them for nearly 100 years. William Kunstler also authored the famous book, “The Minister and the Choir Singer”.
Historian Richard Sears Walling will present the work of Detective Saloom, in addition to an overview of the case and 1926 trial.
All are welcome to attend the 2:00pm program at the East Brunswick Historical Society, 78 Milltown Road, East Brunswick on November 18. Refreshments served.
