Dream Theater Productions To Present Disney's "High School Musical"

(RAHWAY, NJ) -- Dream Theater Productions will present Disney's High School Musical at Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway from October 20-22, 2017. The production is based on the Emmy Award® winning Disney Channel hit musical. Troy, captain of the basketball team, and Gabriella, a shy academically gifted transfer student, discover they share a secret passion for singing. When they audition together for the lead roles in the school musical, it threatens East High’s rigid social order and sends their peers into an uproar.

The cast includes Zita Geoffroy as the kooky, yet heartfelt drama teacher, Ms. Darbus; Peter Herrick will play Troy’s Dad who is also the basketball coach. Both actors are members of Actors’ Equity Association. Zita Geoffroy appeared on Broadway as the Cheshire Cat in Eva LeGallienne’s production of Alice in Wonderland. Her film credits include: She Devil, Admission and Two Days in New York.
