(HOPEWELL, NJ) -- Join the Hopewell Theater on Saturday, June 2nd for a special presentation: The Opposite of Hate: An Evening with Sally Kohn. Writer, activist, CNN political commentator, and podcast host Sally Kohn will discuss her powerful new book: The Opposite of Hate: A Field Guide to Repairing Our Humanity. She will sign books in the lobby after the talk. Books will be on sale in the lobby.
Kohn explores hate and incivility in our culture: why we hate, how we hate, and how we can stop. She draws on cutting-edge research, shares personal stories of her own bullying, and travels around the globe to uncover powerful stories of people who have left lives of hate behind. Kohn's message is one of hope and healing for our times.
This talk is a part of Hopewell Theater's Art of Living Well series featuring inspiring films, speakers and interactive discussions exploring ways of cultivating serenity, meaning and a deeper connection to one’s self and the world.
