CNN’s Sally Kohn To Show The Ways to Hope and Healing at Hopewell Theater(HOPEWELL, NJ) -- Join the Hopewell Theater on Saturday, June 2nd for a special presentation: The Opposite of Hate: An Evening with Sally Kohn. Writer, activist, CNN political commentator, and podcast host Sally Kohn will discuss her powerful new book: The Opposite of Hate: A Field Guide to Repairing Our Humanity.  She will sign books in the lobby after the talk. Books will be on sale in the lobby.

Kohn explores hate and incivility in our culture: why we hate, how we hate, and how we can stop. She draws on cutting-edge research, shares personal stories of her own bullying, and travels around the globe to uncover powerful stories of people who have left lives of hate behind. Kohn's message is one of hope and healing for our times. 

This talk is a part of Hopewell Theater's Art of Living Well series featuring inspiring films, speakers and interactive discussions exploring ways of cultivating serenity, meaning and a deeper connection to one’s self and the world.

General admission tickets to the program are $15, with a discounted rate of $13.50 available for seniors and students. To purchase tickets, visit the Hopewell Theater online or call the box office at 609-466-1964.

Hopewell Theater offers a range of unique cultural experiences, from independent film and live music to guest speakers, artists and performances. Patrons can dine-in on small plates from local restaurants or just come for the show. Film buffs will particularly enjoy a state-of-the-art movie theater in Hopewell, NJ with a dine-in menu. A landing spot, a launch pad, and an incubator, Hopewell Theater is also a place where artists can play, practice, perform or show their passion project on the big screen. The theater is available to rent, at both hourly and day-rates.
