(Rahway, NJ) -- Arts Guild New Jersey is pleased to announce a call for artists for NEXUS, our Annual International Juried Exhibition. This Exhibition will take place from September 13, 2014 to October 8, 2015 at Arts Guild New Jersey, 1670 Irving St, Rahway, New Jersey. The jurors will be Evonne M. Davis and Emma Wilcox, Directors of Gallery Aferro in Newark, New Jersey. An opening reception will be held on Sunday, September 13, 1:00-4:00 PM. The exhibition and reception are free to the public. The exhibition is wheelchair accessible.
The exhibition is open to all visual artists working in any media. Artists must be a minimum age of 18 to enter. Artwork must have been completed in the past 5 years, and may not have been exhibited previously at the Arts Guild New Jersey.
Interested artists can complete the online entry form and submit up to 4 images. The entry fee is $30 for the submission of 2 works, if you are a member of Arts Guild New Jersey, or $35 for non-members. Additional submissions are accepted at $15 each for a maximum of 4 entries. The deadline for submission is Thursday, June 30, 2015.
Judging will be conducted by Evonne M. Davis and Emma Wilcox, Directors of Gallery Aferro in Newark, New Jersey. The winners chosen for the Nexus exhibit will be announced on August 8th, 2015.
