Big Apple Comedy Club Returns To Newton Theatre in May and July(NEWTON, NJ) -- Two new installments of the Big Apple Comedy Club will hit The Newton Theatre on Fridays May 6 and July 15, 2016 at 8:00pm. Each of the Big Apple Comedy Club shows feature four of the best comedians from New York City. It’s a great night out at a great value. The popular comedy series offers a great way to kick off the weekend. It’s always a hilarious night of hot comedy with these stand-out stand-ups.

The May show will feature comics Nick Griffin, Davis Nore, Joe Larson and Chris Monty. Nick Griffin’s comedy is personal, precise and powerful. He’s been a featured guest on Comedy Central, A&E’s An Evening at the Improv”, on HBO, and the network late shows. Nore Davis,  the young refreshing face of comedy, delivers an energetic performance filled with witty quips and sharp punch lines, and has an amazing stage presence.  Joe Larson started comedy at an early age and has always had a knack for making light of any situation, as witnessed when he’s “killin’ it” on stage. Chris Monty is one of New York’s busier comedians. Besides being a regular at the best comedy clubs, Chris is a terrific actor, with a part in the comedy film “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2” and can be seen on the new HBO series “Vinyl”, and later this year in the Netflix series “Orange Is The New Black.”

The July installment brings Jason Andors, Mike Gaffney, Johnny Lampert and Patty Rosborough. Born and raised in NYC, Jason Andors, has made a name for himself with his groundbreaking and hilarious physical comedy. His brilliant true-to- life storytelling has audiences around the country calling him “The Larry David of hip hop comedy (with hair).” Mike Gaffney's style of comedy is very conversational discussing day to day life not only as a single dad but as a friend, son, uncle and all around good guy. He works the clubs and his podcast “ The Disgruntled Dad”. Johnny Lampert is considered one of the premier comedians in the country, is a regular at the top clubs in New York and Los Angeles and high profile casinos. He can also be seen regularly on network and cable TV. Patty Rosborough was once seen as the co-host of Comedy Central's, "Short Attention Span Theater" with Jon Stewart. She presents her frenetic and shamelessly uninhibited performances in every major club in New York and she has a list of television credits ranging from Comedy Central, A&E, Showtime and VH1.
