Art House Productions To Hold STAGES! Conservatory

(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- Art House Productions (AHP) will hold STAGES! Conservatory, an 8-week theater intensive for students ages 7-12 and 13-17,  after school at Art House Productions beginning October 2, 2017. Students will learn about the many different aspects of performing and working in the theater and will have the opportunity to train with working professionals from the New York and regional theater scene. At the end of 8 weeks, our young performers will have developed new skills in acting, improv, dance, singing, and devised theater (creating their own work). There will be a presentation of these skills for family and friends!

Classes will be held at Art House Productions, 300 Coles Street, Jersey City, NJ, 07310. Art House is located adjacent to Hoboken. 

STAGES! JR. CONSERVATORY is tailored towards children aged 7-12. The 8-week program begins on October 2nd and will run until November 22nd. Classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4pm-6pm. Art House Stages! Jr. students will explore improv, theater games, and team-based scene work. 

STAGES! CONSERVATORY is tailored towards adolescents aged 13-17. The 8-week program begins on October 2nd and will run until November 22nd. Classes will be held on Mondays, and Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 4pm-6pm. Art House Stages! students will explore sessions designed to engage in the active exploration of Music in Theater, Movement in Theater, Acting and Improv, and Devised Theater to develop their theater skills and cultivate their art making.

Students of diverse backgrounds and varying abilities are encouraged to apply. Scholarships are available. Please direct scholarship inquiries to meredith@arthouseproductions.org.
