Art House Productions To Hold JC Fridays, The City's Free Quarterly Arts Festival, on December 3rd

(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- Art House Productions will hold JC Fridays on Friday, December 3. Jersey City’s premiere quarterly arts festival will showcase a variety of happenings including visual art exhibitions, artist/maker marts, and studio tours from 19 participating artists, businesses, and organizations. JC Fridays is a seasonal multi-arts festival featuring art events that take place in restaurants, galleries, stores, and event spaces in almost every neighborhood in Jersey City. All events are free and open to the public. As one of the preeminent art scenes in the tri-state area, Jersey City is abound with visual and performing artists of all types, musicians, and individuals with unique talents; JC Fridays is one of the best times for them to share their newest projects and works.

JC Fridays is a free arts festival across Jersey City, New Jersey presented by Art House Productions. It is held four times a year at the start of every season: March, June, September, and December.

Vegan AF: The Art Show Must Go On! - Since day ONE local artists Robert Piersanti, Lawrence Ciarallo, Distort and Qassim Muñoz have offered to support us by displaying their art on our walls and an amazing mural on the front of the restaurant.  This show is for them and for all the local artists that are always there for the community.   The art show must go on!

Triangle Park Community Center: Viva Greenville! - Featuring the works of two Jersey City natives; Susana Martin & Maria Lupuanez! Exhibiting the inner beauty of our people and community, Viva Greenville demonstrates that we are resilient in the midst of all that is taking place in our world...Let's continue to live!!

Project Greenville: Winter Wonderland Weekend - Join us Friday and Saturday for one of our favorite community art events, The Winter Wonderland Weekend! Featuring winter and holiday art--of all kinds--by local artists...refreshments, holiday cheer and a cozy way to start the season in Greenville!  Bring a new or gently used toy for our donation bin :)

MUYU Market at SMUSH Gallery - Join MUYU, a local cultural incubator for low-income creatives, for a holiday market at SMUSH Gallery! Artist-vendors include Rosemary, Sally Helmi, Bleriot Thompson, Agua de Jade Apothecary, noaesthetics, Garden Grocery, and Taina Spicer. MUYU re-launches online this winter -- catch them in person this JC Fridays!

Outlander Gallery: 'The Maiden & The Crone' - A multi-media experiential solo exhibition by artist Christy E. O'Connor

Team Wilderness Photography Collection - Team Wilderness' Photography Club gives local teens an opportunity to develop professional photography skills while embarking on wilderness excursions. This will be the first peak at their budding skills.

New Jersey City University Galleries: Wonder Women Artist Talk: Health and Art in a Global Pandemic - Join us for our free Virtual Artist talk, or stop by the galleries in-person to see our exhibits! Virtual art talk by four artists from the current exhibit in the Visual Arts Gallery, Wonder Women 12: A Health Survey. Pollie Barden, Doris Caçoilo, Christine DaCruz, and Sharon Lee DeLa Cruz

Ben Fine: Open Artist Studio - Artist Ben Fine will open his studio for a holiday sale - offering framed limited edition prints of his cityscapes.  These cityscapes were painted from a fourth-floor window overlooking a corner of Hamilton Park during the lockdown of 2020.

NOW Project Space for the Arts: Hopeful - NOW Project Space for the Arts welcomes artist Charlie Hewitt in the walk by public art windows. NPSA welcomes Vikki Michalios in the walk by public works windows.

Art150: Holiday Market & Open Studios - Art150 will have an extensive exhibition of artwork for $250 or less, as well as further original artwork available in the more than 50 artist studios (including Paul Wirhun/Eggman and m.gluck). The artists of Art150 include painters, photographers, sculptors and mixed media artists.  The Art150 space also includes the Pro Arts gallery, which will have arts vendors during JC Fridays, as well as Art House Gallery, which will have its Very Affordable Art Show on display.

Art House Productions Gallery: The Very Affordable Art Show - "The Very Affordable Art Show" includes works of art all priced at $250 and under. Showcasing pieces with gift-giving in mind, all works are priced to be affordable for the holiday season. Works include paintings, small sculptures, handmade gifts, and more!

Theda Sandiford Art: Free Your Mind: Public Social Justice Art Project - Free Your Mind is a collection of personal narratives. Participants are invited to write onto a ribbon an experience with microaggressions and then, tie the ribbon onto a net, to release this story from their personal narrative. Later, artist Theda Sandiford will weave the story ribbons into a protective blanket.

Pro Arts Holiday Bazaar at ART150 - A Holiday Bazaar at ART150 featuring local artisans, crafters and artists, just in time for the Holiday Season.  With goodies and gifts for sale during the kickoff of the Season, this event is not to be missed!

Dvora Pop-Up Gallery: Scot J. Wittman: Solo Exhibition - Dvora Gallery presents the digital map collages of Scot J. Wittman. Wittman meticulously redraws digital maps of historic places of the world, then cuts and reforms the prints into classic and legendary portraits and whimsical figures.

Fine Arts Gallery at Saint Peter's University: Inside Outside: Paintings by Jennifer Krause Chapeau and Linda Streicher - In a complex world, Inside Outside explores the dualities of inside and outside space. It is possible to experience and to see this space at the same time. That is where the magic begins. How does our perception change as we move through it? Where do these worlds meet and cross over?

The SILVERMAN and Hamilton Square Condominiums Present: BODY LANGUAGE By: OCCIPITAL  - An exhibition exploring how emotion subconsciously translates through body language.

CMPND x Nachalie Rodriguez: Circle of Life Series - We'll be hosting an exhibition for artist Nachalie Rodriguez as she showcases her Circle of Life series. Join us on December 3 at 97 Newkirk Street. Viewing will be on our third floor in the coworking lounge.

Union County presents "Art of All Abilities Exhibit" in Celebration of Disability Pride Month

(ELIZABETH, NJ) -- July is Disability Pride Month, and in recognition of the occasion, the Union County Board of County Commissioners invites residents to visit the 2025 Art for All Abilities Exhibit. This special exhibit features 20 original works created by Union County residents of all abilities and will be on display throughout the month of July at the Commissioner's Gallery.

West Windsor Arts to Honor Artist Priscilla Snow Algava's Legacy with New Exhibition and Healing Workshops

(PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ) -- West Windsor Arts will host a very special art exhibition this summer celebrating the life and legacy of late Princeton artist Priscilla Snow Algava. The show, "See Beauty Everywhere: Art by Priscilla Snow Algava," will be on view at West Windsor Arts from July 15 through August 8, 2025, and will benefit the scholarship fund established in her name.

The exhibition will be on display at the Art House Gallery from July 5-27, 2025 and features twelve architects stepping out of the structural realm and into a world of personal expression in this dynamic group exhibition.

Novado Gallery presents "Summer Mosaic" Group Show

(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- Novado Gallery presents Summer Mosaic - a group show from June 29 - August 23, 2025. ​​​​​​​Summer Mosaic is a celebration of diversity, not just in backgrounds or styles, but in the ways artists see, think, and translate their inner worlds into visual form. This group exhibition invites viewers into a layered experience, where every artwork holds a personal logic, every technique becomes a language, and every image carries the trace of intention.

Ellarslie Open 42 Awards Prizes to 10 Exhibiting Artists; Exhibition On View Until September 7th

(TRENTON, NJ) -- Ten of 119 exhibiting artists received awards during the Artists and Members Reception for Ellarslie Open 42 on Saturday, June 21 at the Trenton City Museum. The 2025 edition of the annual juried exhibition showcases 124 diverse works by artists of the greater Trenton and Bucks County areas and throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York – and one from North Carolina.
