Art House Productions Receives Grant From Goldman Sachs

originally published: 01/22/2015
(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- Art House Productions is proud to announce that it has received a grant from Goldman Sachs for the installation of a lighting grid in its new theater. The theater presents a range of programming, from professional plays and music concerts to musicals for youth and educational classes. Art House moved into its new space at 136 Magnolia Avenue in Journal Square over the summer and has been putting the finishing touches on its 99-seat black box theater.

Christine Goodman, Executive Director of Art House Productions says, "We are honored to be recognized by Goldman Sachs and are looking forward to presenting plays in a fully-functional, well-lit space, thanks to this generous support.”

Art House partnered with Goldman Sachs in July 2014 for their 10th Anniversary Student Art Project. Through this program, middle school students from across Jersey City created artwork that is now on view outside of Goldman Sachs’ waterfront tower. Goldman Sachs has also been a longstanding supporter of Art House’s annual fundraiser, Snow Ball, which will be held on January 24.
