AFTERNOON OF MICA ARTISTS’ Performances At Noyes Museum Of Art(OCEANVILLE, NJ) – The Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton University will host a fascinating afternoon of MICA Artists’ Performances on Saturday, March 28. The presenters are three exciting MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art) artists and ETHEL, a talented quartet of musicians from New York.

Well-known performance artist Renée Rendine will present a work specific to the Noyes Museum gallery space. A MICA alumna, she now teaches at MICA and has recently created Billow, a performance/installation piece at The Corcoran Gallery in Washington D.C. She will perform from 12:00 – 1:00 pm in the central gallery of the museum.

From 1:00 – 3:00 pm, Mikel Frank and Gerard Amsellem, The Visual Passion Duo, will present a live painting performance accompanied by the musical quartet ETHEL. ETHEL is acclaimed as "unfailingly vital" (The New York Times), "brilliant," "downtown's reigning string quartet" (The New Yorker), and "one of the most exciting quartets around" (Strad Magazine). ETHEL invigorates the contemporary music scene with exuberance, intensity, imaginative programming, and exceptional artistry.

Renée Rendine, Mikel Frank, and Gerard Amsellem, are exhibiting their work in the MICA: THEN/NOW exhibition currently on view at The Noyes Museum through May 17.
