(New Brunswick, NJ) -- "A View from the Shore," a multiple-artist, juried exhibition sponsored by the Monmouth Arts, opens on Thursday, July 12, 2012 in the Brodsky Art Gallery at The Heldrich Hotel, 10 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick.

"A View from the Shore" includes two- and three-dimensional works, watercolors, oils, pastels as well as photography. Artists include Susan Fairgrieve, Patti Kaufman, Michael Lee, Michael S. Miller, Sandy Taylor, Jill Kerwick, Gerda Liebmann, Wayne Lerman, Amy Puccio, Lisa Marie O'Connell, Anthony Migliaccio, Pat Hutchinson and Lucy Kalian.

"We are so thrilled to bring our unique perspective to the art gallery at The Heldrich. Monmouth County has many high quality artists who find inspiration from the surrounding of the county. We are happy to share this point of view with others in New Jersey," said Mary Eileen Fouratt, Executive Director of MCAC.

The exhibit is part of an ongoing partnership between New Brunswick Development Corporation (Devco) and The Heldrich to provide public exhibit space for, and to celebrate, New Jersey artists. All of the art is available for purchase.

"A View from the Shore" will run through October 31, 2012.
