Elf, The Musical Returns To Madison Square Garden For Limited Run

(NEW YORK, NY) -- The Madison Square Garden Company presents Elf, The Musical from December 13th through December 29th.  It tells the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. George Wendt (of Cheers fame) stars as Santa with Eric Gratton as Buddy.  Veronica Kuehn from Spotswood, NJ, plays Jovie.

EmiSunshine To Perform At Monmouth University In March

(WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- The Center for the Arts at Monmouth University will present EmiSunshine on March 30, 2018 at 8:00pm. The concert represents the exclusive northeast tour appearance — and a first-ever visit to the Monmouth campus — for a breakout music star who’s barely entered her teens: the 13-year old Americana/ country traditionalist who was named one of Rolling Stone's 10 New Country Artists You Need to Know, and whose burgeoning fanbase can claim such discerning music lovers as Emmylou Harris, Ricky Skaggs, and Loretta Lynn.


MCCC Orchestra, Chorus, Jazz Band to Present Free Concerts December 11-13

(WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- The music of Mingus, Mozart, Mitchell, and many more will be center stage during three upcoming free winter concerts by Mercer County Community College (MCCC) orchestra, chorus and jazz students. The brand new MCCC Orchestra will perform on Monday, December 11, with the MCCC Chorus performing on Tuesday, December 12, followed by the Jazz Band on Wednesday, December 13. All three performances are at 7:30 p.m. in Kelsey Theatre on Mercer’s West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.


Glen Burtnik's Summer Of Love Concert Returns To The Newton Theatre

(NEWTON, NJ) -- Glen Burtnik’s Summer of Love concert returns to The Newton Theatre on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 8:00pm. The Summer of Love concert will bring back the memories and the spirit of the Woodstock generation. Led by Glen Burtnik (Styx, Beatlemania), with a full band and psychedelic light show, the concert will bring you the music of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Santana, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Jefferson Airplane and many more.  Tickets range from $39 to $54. 


Senses Fail Announces Month-Long Tour in February & March 2018

(RIDGEWOOD, NJ) -- Senses Fail will be hitting the road for a full U.S. tour next year with support from Reggie and the Full Effect, Have Mercy, and Household. The month-long run kicks off on February 27th in Santa Ana and wraps up on March 31st in Las Vegas, bringing Senses Fail's high-energy and passion-driven live show to fans across the country.  Local shows include dates in Brooklyn, Sayreville, and Philadephia.

The Newton Theatre To Screen "1945" and "Lady Bird" In December

(NEWTON, NJ) -- The Newton Theatre will be screening two new movies this month, 1945 and Lady Bird. 1945 is an award-winning film (San Francisco Film Critics Circle Award, San Francisco Jewish Film Festival, Miami Jewish Film Festival), based on the acclaimed short story "Homecoming" by Gábor T. Szántó. New Jersey Stage Publishes 3,000th Article of 2017 - its most ever in a single year

(BELMAR, NJ) — In baseball, 3,000 hits is a particularly amazing milestone, often signally a Hall of Fame worthy career. For New Jersey Stage, 3,000 is the goal for articles published each year.  On December 6, the website reached that goal for the first time and is on pace to finish the year with an average of just under 9 art-related articles per day.


Old York Cellars Expands Wine Lounge In Bridgewater Mall With Live Music

​​​​​​​(BRIDGEWATER, NJ) -- Old York Cellars, the New Jersey winery that brought its award-winning wines to the Bridgewater Commons Mall a year ago with their popular Wine Bar & Shop, has expanded, and moved into a new location on the second level next to Macy’s. The new location continues to offer daily wine tastings and specialty tasting flights, but now, mall customers can experience the wines and snacks in the new Wine Lounge. The new space also offers more wine-themed gifts, accessories and live entertainment.
