Two River Theater Premieres "El Coqui Espectacular and the Bottle of Doom"

There’s a new superhero in town! “El Coquí Espectacular and the Bottle of Doom” is having its world premiere at Two River Theater. Featuring a down-on-his-luck comic book artist, this new play tells a lively story about following your passion and the strong ties of community. Jesse and Dave were at rehearsal in Red Bank to get the scoop from show’s creators.

Centenary Stage Presents Ranky Tanky

(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Take the Southern coast, West African ryhthms of the Sea-Island Gullah music, add a New Orleans-style rhythm, with a taste of Charleston  jazz and R & B and “the result is irresistible!” says SpoletoUSA.    An acclaimed new band called Ranky Tanky is doing just that, and winning fans from Lincoln Center to Norway’s Moldejazz and New York’s Carnegie Hall.   Ranky Tanky will perform for one night only at the Centenary Stage Company’s Lackland Performing Arts Center in Hackettstown, Saturday, February 10 at 8:00pm.

Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers To Perform In Holmdel and Camden

Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers are co-headlining a North American 2018 summer tour, which kicks off May 10 in Charlotte, NC and wraps July 14 in Bethel, NY.  The legendary bands will travel to over 30 cities across the U.S. and Canada including Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Nashville, and Toronto.  Locally the tour comes to the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on Friday, July 6 and The BB&T Pavilion in Camden on Wednesday, July 11.


Harborland To Film Music Video At Performance In Asbury Park

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Harborland, an emo power duo from Toms River, returns to the stage after a six-month hiatus on Thursday, January 25, to celebrate the printing and re-release of their album, A Father’s Joy, a full-length musical exploration of mental illness, loss and eventually overcoming both. Attendees will have the opportunity to be part of the fun as Harborland films its premiere music video for their song “I Am the Astronaut” during the show. Tickets are $8.


The Dixie Dregs To Perform At Newton Theatre

(NEWTON, NJ) -- Critically acclaimed and six-time GRAMMY®-Award nominated musical virtuosos, The Dixie Dregs (a.k.a The Dregs) are gearing up for their “Dawn of the Dregs Tour,” a national U.S. headlining tour that will bring them to over 25 cities this year including a show on Saturday, March 10 at the Newton Theatre. Tickets range from $64 to $79.


Bon Jovi To Perform Two Nights At Prudential Center In April

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Global rock icons and newly announced Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2018 inductees Bon Jovi have announced the spring leg of their This House Is Not for Sale Tour, which will include back-to-back performances at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on Saturday, April 7 and Sunday, April 8.  The band will return to the area May 9-10 with back to back shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
