5th Annual Chalk About AC To Take Place October 12

originally published: 10/09/2019

(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- The 5th Annual Chalk About AC will take place on Saturday, October 12th from 9:00am to 1:00pm at O’Donnell Memorial Park in Atlantic City. This year’s event also includes a half mile Color Run Fun Run around the park, produced in partnership with AC Marathon.  The rain date is Sunday, October 13th.

Chalk About AC, now in it’s fifth year, has always been a community favorite. For The Leadership Studio, the event is a marker they look forward to as a celebration of all that Atlantic City has to offer.

“Chalk About AC was the first community-wide event we participated in, on our opening day two years ago. As a fellow community-focused organization, we connected with ACAF’s ability to draw out our city’s diverse groups of people, get folks creating together, and enjoying the streets of Atlantic City in many positive ways. The event leaves people inspired to contribute to and highlight the beauty and many varied expressions of what’s wonderful about our city!” shares Allie Nunzi, Leadership Studio Co-Founder and Board President.

Registration (9:00am) and lunch (12:00pm) will take place in O’Donnell Memorial Park in Atlantic City. This year’s event also includes a half mile Color Run Fun Run around the park, produced in partnership with AC Marathon.

“We wanted to do something really special for our fifth year. Atlantic City had a color run a few years ago in Bader Field – it was such a fun, positive, colorful event that we knew we had to bring a version to Chalk About AC and it was the perfect way to partner with AC Marathon,” says Joyce Hagen, ACAF Executive Director.
