Monmouth Arts Premieres Woody Allen's "Magic In The Moonlight"

(RED BANK, NJ) -- Set in the south of France in the 1920s against a backdrop of wealthy mansions, the Côte d'Azur, jazz joints and fashionable spots for the wealthy of the Jazz Age, an Englishman is brought in to help unmask a possible swindle. Personal and professional complications ensue in "Magic in the Moonlight", a new romantic comedy by Woody Allen. The Monmouth Arts Council is holding a film premiere on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 7:30pm at the Bow Tie Cinema (36 White Street, Red Bank, NJ). Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door.

The film stars Eileen Atkins, Colin Firth, Marcia Gay Harden, Hamish Linklater, Simon McBurney, Emma Stone, Jacki Weaver, Erica Leerhsen, Catherine McCormack, Paul Ritter, and Jeremy Shamos. The film was written and directed by Woody Allen.

Before the screening, Monmouth Arts is holding a fundraiser at Ocean First Financial Solutions Center (73 Broad Street, Red Bank, NJ) from 5:30pm - 7:15pm. Tickets for the reception and film are $35 for members of Monmouth Arts and $45 for non-members. The reception will feature networking, food, drink, and lively conversation about the arts.

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- The 45th Bi-Annual New Jersey Film Festival will be taking place between September 4 - October 4, 2026. As they have been doing the last few years, the festival will be presented as a hybrid with select in-person screenings at Rutgers University and most of the films available virtually via Video on Demand for 24 hours on their show date. The festival also be offering an Audio-Visual Concert featuring the bands Lawns and Hanging Coats as well as two FREE Filmmaking Workshops.
