(Mystic, CT) -- American Laundromat Records (ALR) is proud to announce plans to release a tribute to one of their favorite films of all time -- the 80's cult classic "Repo Man." The original film soundtrack celebrated the southern California punk movement of the late 70's/early 80's featuring bands Black Flag, the Circle Jerks, Suicidal Tendencies, The Plugz, Iggy Pop and others. ALR is tributing the soundtrack with some of their favorite artists covering these now-classic punk tracks.

The CD is slotted for September 18, 2012 worldwide release, and American Laundromat Records is now offering an exclusive limited-edition pre-order bundle from their website at www.ALR-MUSIC.com. The bundle is specially priced at $10.00 and includes the 6-panel CD eco-wallet featuring original artwork by revered rock poster designer Lonny Unitus (Melvins, Decemberists, Willie Nelson), bonus promo pin, album preview prior to release date and, while supplies last, an official Little Trees' royal pine tree-shaped air freshener which were featured in the film -- "you find one in every car... you'll see" (Miller to Otto).
ABOUT REPO MANRepo Man is a 1984 film written & directed by Alex Cox. It was produced by Jonathan Wacks and Peter McCarthy with executive producer Michael Nesmith, and stars Emilio Estevez and Harry Dean Stanton. Repo Man was well received by critics and is considered by many as one of the best films of 1984. It currently holds a 97% "Fresh" rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and was voted as the eighth best film set in Los Angeles in the last 25 years by a group of Los Angeles Times writers. Entertainment Weekly ranked the film #7 on their list of "The Top 50 Cult Films."
