Ritz Theatre Company presents World Premiere Holiday Musical


(HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- This Christmas, The Ritz Theatre Company presents the world premiere production of The Absolute Fantastical Adventures of Cindy Ella and the Once and Future Golden Christmas Goose in the Joyous Years That Followed the Never-Ending Plague: A Short Panto (whew!), a fast-paced and fun-filled musical romp inspired by Great Britain's beloved theatrical tradition of the holiday pantomime. The show runs at The Ritz from December 3rd through December 19th.

Music Box at Borgata presents "Motown Holiday Show" Every Thursday in December


(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- Welcoming guests to experience the magic of Motown this holiday season, the highly entertaining concert production, the “Motown Holiday Show,” is coming to the Music Box theater at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa this December. The Motown Holiday Show ignites images and remembrances of a musical era gone by, when music and lyrics told stories, shared feelings, and touched lives in a very special way. Performances will run every Thursday beginning December 2-30, 2021 at 8:30pm. 


Neville Staple To Release "From The Specials & Beyond"


(LOS ANGELES, CA) -- The UK Two-Tone Ska legend Neville Staple, who pioneered the Los Angeles Two-Tone/Ska movement, celebrates his origins on a brilliant and energetic new studio album, From The Specials & Beyond! Not only does Staple enlist his usual band of stellar players and musicians, including his wife and co-vocalist Sugary Staple, to recreate two smash hits by Staple’s former band, The Specials, “Ghost Town” and “Monkey Man,” but he’s also gone back even further into his roots.

Music lovers are in their seats this Wednesday, November 10, 2021 evening at MPAC in Morristown, NJ, anxiously awaiting a live concert by Rosanne Cash. One of music’s pre-eminent singer/songwriters, Cash has scored 21 Top 40 country hits, including 11 #1 singles. Her landmark 2009 album, The List, won the Americana Music Album of the Year award and her 2015 release, The River and the Thread — a collaboration with her husband, musician John Leventhal — earned her three Grammy Awards. Cash’s latest recording is her 2018 Blue Note release, She Remembers Everything.


MPAC Presents Max Weinberg’s Jukebox On December 11th


(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- For 45 years, Max Weinberg has held the drum chair behind Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band. While anchoring the house band for Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Max enjoyed expanding his role as band leader and resident music historian.  Max Weinberg's Jukebox arrives at Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) on Saturday, December 11 at 8:00pm. Tickets range from $29-$69. A VIP Private Meet and Greet is available for an additional $115 with any seat (must purchase ticket to partake in VIP).


Outpost in the Burbs Presents Dar Williams on December 3rd


(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Outpost in the Burbs presents singer-songwriter Dar Williams on December 3rd at 8:00pm. This concert will take place at the First Congregational Church, 40 S. Fullerton Avenue in Montclair. Her latest album, I'll Meet You Here, was released on October 1, 2021.


J. Mark McVey joins the New Jersey Youth Symphony for Holiday Extravaganza On December 12th


(NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ) -- The New Jersey Youth Symphony (NJYS) has announced that veteran Broadway performer J. Mark McVey, whose leading roles include over 3,200 performances as Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, joins a lineup of special musical guests headlining the afternoon concert Holiday Extravaganza: Together We Celebrate Winter Holidays on Sunday, December 12 at the Union County Performing Arts Center located at 1601 Irving Street in Rahway. The performance begins at 3:00pm.

Atlantic City Ballet Performs Two Holiday Shows


(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- This holiday season the Atlantic City Ballet will be bringing two of their favorite ballets to Atlantic City and surrounding theaters. Thanksgiving weekend they’ll kick off the holidays with It’s A Shore Holiday. This ballet blends classical and contemporary dance set to beloved holiday tunes. The “Radio City-esque” review has something for everyone including singers, dancing snowmen, chipmunks, and toy soldiers who perform their entire routine on pointe. This year the company will feature singers Kelly LaVinga, Matt Newsome and James Maher. It’s A Shore Holiday will be sure to capture audience’s imagination of every age. 


New Jersey Civic Youth Ballet presents "The Nutcracker" at Centenary Stage Company


(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- The New Jersey Civic Youth Ballet (NJCYB) returns to Centenary Stage Company’s Sitnik Theatre this holiday season with their production of The Nutcracker for their 22nd season. Professional dancers, current NJCYB members, and alumni offer performances on December 17 at 7:00pm, December 18 at 12:00pm and 5:00pm, and December 19 at 3:00pm. These performances will be held in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center, located at 715 Grand Avenue in Hackettstown.
