Centenary Stage Company To Hold Open Call Auditions For "A Christmas Carol" On October 25th

(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company will hold an open-call audition for the upcoming 2021 holiday production of A Christmas Carol written by Stephen Temperley and based on the story by Charles Dickens. Auditions will be held by appointment on Monday, October 25 from 10:30am – 7:00pm.

To schedule an appointment, call the Centenary Stage Company box office at (908) 979-0900. Walk-ins will be seen as time permits. The auditions will be held in the Kutz Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center at 715 Grand Avenue, Hackettstown, NJ on the campus of Centenary University.

If you are unable to attend, send resumes, headshots, and reels to boxoffice@centenarystageco.org Att: Casting. Performers may prepare a monologue appropriate to the material or read from sides. Sides can be found online at centenarystageco.org and will also be provided the day of auditions. 

A Christmas Carol by Stephen Temperley, author of Souvenir. A new dramatization of the classic Charles Dickens novel for a versatile small cast of cersatile performers. Six actors will bring to life all the Dickens’ characters. A Christmas Carol was published in 1843, Charles Dickens, through the voice of Scrooge, continues to urge us to honor Christmas in our hearts and try to keep it all year round. 

Performances will run November 26 through December 12.
