ArtHouse Produuctions in partnership with Triangle Park Community Center & Source of Knowledge Bookshop present "Antiphonal Life: The Returns of Paul Robeson" - a virtual lecture by Shana L. Redmond, Ph.D. on Thursday, March 18 at 4:00pm EST. The lecture is presented on Zoom.
From his cavernous voice and unparalleled artistry to his fearless struggle for human rights, Paul Robeson was one of the twentieth century’s greatest icons and polymaths. Drawn from Dr. Redmond's recent book, Everything Man, this talk announces "antiphonal life" as a uniquely conceived strategy of the polymath movement artist Paul Robeson. His ascension in scale, from raw element to mountain peak, reveals the failures of the suppressive state and the achievements of The People in their demand to hear and be heard.
