Violet Whimsey Releases "How Bout We"

New Jersey based indie-alternative band, Violet Whimsey, released the single, “How Bout We” on New Year's Day. The track follows up their debut single, “Loving You (Was Killing Me),” and will be featured on the band’s upcoming debut album, Love, Love slated for Fall 2021.


Corinna Sowers Adler To Perform Live on January 9th In Support Of NiCori Studio & Productions Scholarship Fund

(BLOOMFIELD, NJ) -- 2020 was a rough year for everyone, but especially for arts organizations who find themselves in serious financial trouble due to the pandemic. NiCori Studios and Productions is hosting a live webcast on Saturday, January 9 at 7:00pm for the NiCori Studio & Productions Scholarship Fund to ensure that no student is turned away due to financial hardship.  The webcast features six-time Tony Award nominee singer/actress Corinna Sowers Adler in Let Me Sing & I'm Happy featuring Jimmy Horan on piano live from the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center.


The Weeklings "3" Voted Coolest Song In The World for 2020

The Weeklings head into the new year with news that the title track of their album "3" was voted as the #1 Coolest Song In The World by Little Steven's Underground Garage.  The band has previously had two songs finish in the Top Ten Coolest Songs of the Year (in 2016 and 2018) but this is their first time topping the prestigious year end list.

Lighthouse International Film Society & South End Surf N' Paddle Presents "Big vs Small"

(LONG BEACH ISLAND, NJ) -- Lighthouse International Film Society screens films year round and has films scheduled for screening online all winter long.  Their film for January is Big vs Small, which is available for streaming January 7-11.  Tickets are $6 and free for LIF Society members and youth groups.

(SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ) -- The male dance troupe 10 Hairy Legs legally dissolved on December 31, 2020 as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. The company has been on hiatus since April 1, 2020 when all current and future engagements were cancelled.
