The Theater Project's Annual Production of "It's A Wonderful Life" Continued In 2020 Thanks To Zoom

(UNION, NJ) -- On Friday, December 11th, and Saturday, December 12th, The Theater Project put on its annual production of the radio play It’s a Wonderful Life a little differently: over Zoom, where actors and audience members participated from the safety of their homes to cap off what was certainly a unique year for the arts. And that wasn’t the only different aspect of this year’s production.

Chelsea Carlson Releases Her First Holiday Album

Chelsea Carlson has released her first holiday album A Cozy Christmas, which is available on Bandcamp.  The a singer-songwriter from Mount Olive, New Jersey, produced, recorded, and mixed the album herself. It features eight traditional holiday songs reimagined for 2020 with 25% of the profits earned this year from the album going to Hope's Promise Equine Assisted Activities in Chester, New Jersey.

Film by RVCC Dance Professor Named Finalist in International Festival

(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- Terpsichore's Sacrilegium, a dance film by Raritan Valley Community College Professor of Dance Loretta Di Bianca Fois of Branchburg, has been named a finalist in the Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival of Athens, Greece.  The piece, which was filmed outside the RVCC Arts Building, features RVCC Adjunct Associate Professor of Dance Lauren Beirne of Brooklyn, NY.  


NJPAC Offers Livestream Of "Evil Dead" With Commentary & Stories By Bruce Campbell On Jan 23

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Join New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) for a nationwide virtual viewing of the 1981 Sam Raimi classic, Evil Dead on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 9:00pm. There will be live commentary throughout by Bruce Campbell himself.  Watch the film with Campbell as he shares memories, stories, and anecdotes from the film, and for a few lucky viewers, Bruce will even answer questions from the chat.

Glassroots CEO Barbara Heisler To Step Down To Pursue New Opportunities
