Giving Thanks and Salutes at Ocean Casino Resort in November

(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- Ocean Casino Resort leaped into the Thanksgiving season by “giving” back to the community with donations to the Food Bank of New Jersey and the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City. Ocean will also be honoring our U.S. Veterans and active-duty members with Veterans Day Specials.

Here is what’s happening at Ocean Casino Resort in November: 

Veterans Day: Ocean Casino Resort will be rolling out the red carpet for Veterans and Active Duty guests on Veterans Day. On November 11, guests presenting a valid Military or US Veterans ID, along with their Oceans Rewards Card, will be entitled to a day full of specials including a dedicated red-carpet check-in line in the hotel lobby.

To salute our Veterans and Active Service men and women on Veterans Day, Ocean Casino Resort will be offering a special room rate, complimentary Valet Parking, free coffee at Lobby Brew or The Grind, and a commemorative t-shirt, which will be distributed at the Card Center.

“Giving” Back: To kick off the season of giving, Ocean Casino Resort donated $10,000 to The Community Food Bank of New Jersey in an effort to aid New Jersey families in need this upcoming holiday season.

Also, in support of the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City, Ocean donated 24 cases of bulk cereal and assorted candy.

Dining: November means Thanksgiving is coming and where else to eat, but at Ocean Casino Resort! Three of Ocean’s popular restaurants American Cut, Café500 and Villain & Saint will be offering a Thanksgiving menu you won’t want to miss.

American Cut – Traditional Turkey Dinner including tart cherry stuffing, red bliss mashed potatoescrispy brussel sprouts and turkey gravy for $47 per person. Then add a Granny Smith Apple Pie with brown sugar pecan ice cream for an additional $10.

Café500 – First course, a Roasted Pumpkin Bisque with Ginger Crème Fraiche or a Harvest Salad with Gathered Greens, Cranberry, Goat Cheese and Candied Walnuts. Second Course, an herb roasted turkey with mashed potatoes, haricot vert, crispy shallots, traditional stuffing, cranberry sauce. And for dessert, a pumpkin pie or a country apple pie. All for $24 per person.

Villain & Saint – Harvest Gnocchi, a pumpkin-sweet potato gnocchi with brown butter, sage, whipped ricotta, cranberry and roasted pumpkin seeds to start. Main course includes a stuffed oven-roasted turkey breast with sausage, goat cheese, dried cranberries, whipped sweet potato, mac and cheese brulee and crispy string beans. And for dessert, a Pumpkin Panna Cotta with crushed gingersnaps, bourbon caramel, and candied pecans. This dinner package is set at $35 per person.

Also, in November, Ocean will be opening a new Smoothie and Juice Bar on the lobby level for guests looking for a healthy beverage.
