Deonté Griffin-Quick Of New Jersey Theatre Alliance Receives Award From NASAA

(LINDEN, NJ) -- The National Assembly of State Arts Agencies (NASAA) has named Deonté Griffin-Quick a recipient of its inaugural Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Individual Award. This award recognizes individuals who demonstrate outstanding leadership and tireless efforts in addressing and raising awareness about issues of diversity, equity and inclusion in their state or region. The award was presented on October 22 during NASAA’s virtual Business Bash, attended by arts leaders from across the country.


The Strollers To Hold Auditions For "Art" by Yasmina Reza

(MAPLEWOOD, NJ) -- The Strollers will hold auditions via ZOOM for Art by Yasmina Reza on October 28-29 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Rehearsals will start November 1 with a read through and take place 3-4 times per week, based on cast availability. All rehearsals conducted via Zoom The performance will also be presented via ZOOM on Friday, November 20 at 7:30pm. The play is translated by Christopher Hampton and the performance will be directed by Dena Daniel.

Hopewell Theater Presents Chris Harford's Central Jersey Show Dance Band Virtual Concert

(HOPEWELL, NJ) -- Hopewell Theater will light up to open for one night only, Friday, October 30, 2020, with a concert by Chris Harford's Central Jersey Show Dance Band, live streamed online for anyone to watch, at 8:00pm EST. The venue will present this show in celebration of Independent Venue week, #IVW, and to raise funds for the national Save Our Stages, #SOS, emergency relief fund - directly supporting our most vulnerable venues experiencing catastrophic revenue loss.


The Doo Wop Project at Kean Stages: A Live Concert Review

Yes, that’s right. Your eyes are not deceiving you. This article is about a live concert held a few nights ago, Thursday, Oct. 22 to be exact. It featured The Doo Wop Project and it was held outdoors at Kean Alumni Stadium in Union, New Jersey. The concert was a part of Kean Stages Fall 2020 programs. Kean Stages is finding ways to keep live theater and shows going during this time of the CoVid pandemic.


RAHWAY Releases Video for "Stone"

New Jersey based heavy rock band RAHWAY, also known as the Slumlords of NJ (which is also the name of the band’s freshly released EP), has released their heavy rock tale of love heartbreak, and coping with the pain, "Stone."


America Part Two Releases "Split 2020" and "Freedom" Singles Via Revival Recordings

(LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- The New Jersey trio known as America Part Two released "Split 2020" and "Freedom" via Revival Recordings on October 23rd.  According to the band's website, their mission is to perpetuate love and fight hate.

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey presents a virtual concert by Jim Brickman on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 7:00pm. The Grammy(R)-nominated songwriter and piano sensation Jim Brickman will be performing this holiday season with the “Comfort & Joy at Home 2020” Virtual Tour.

(NEW YORK, NY) -- Agora Gallery presents Engaging the Full Spectrum featuring artwork by Nick Bautista from October 27 through November 17, 2020.
